Privacy
Last updated: August 2026
The short version: this site is a stack of static files. There is no account to make, no login, no server holding anything about you. What follows is the longer version, section by section.
What is measured
Page views are counted with Google Analytics, on every page of this site and inside the games. It is the same property the games have used since they lived at coolpanda.fun, so their history stays continuous. It records the page, the referrer, rough location, and device type. On top of that, the pages report how far down you scrolled and how long you stayed, so I can tell which essays people actually finish.
Being straight about it: Google Analytics is a Google product, it sets cookies, and it is not the privacy-preserving option. I use it because it is free and I already had the property. Any tracker blocker stops it, and nothing on this site breaks when you block it.
What stays on your device
Games and interactive pieces save progress in your browser's local storage — Infinite Psyche's discovered elements, Courier Through Gates' best score, your light/dark preference, your English/Odia preference. None of it is sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data clears it, and it is gone for good.
What you can choose to give
One thing asks for input, and only if you offer it: the newsletter form takes an email address. It posts to a Google Form, so the address lands in a Google Sheet I own and nothing else — it is used to send essays and for nothing besides. If you never fill it in, the site never learns anything about you beyond the counts above.
What is never collected
- No account, name, or phone number — there is nothing to sign up for.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No save files, game data, or drafts leaving your device.
